Orange Mages’ reps win in Male, Female Category of TikTok Contest

The representatives of the Orange Mages in both the Male and Female Edition of the TikTok Competition were declared as the Champions as part of Cluster D Unity E-Games and Festival of Talents 2021 held via Zoom, March 6.

With an amazing medley of dance performances from Latrell Penny Alindogan, he managed to secure 1st place among other entries from different teams. Next to him was Jerry Bombane from Pink Archers achieving 2nd place and Denmark Tyson Anguit from Red Targemen taking 3rd place.

Georgina Araya showcased her charming moves, earning the highest score from the judges to grab 1st place. At 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, were Lara Jane Macalindong of Green Swordsmen and Kristene Ysabelle Escobal of Yellow Elementalists.

All entries were pre-recorded and presented via Zoom and streamed live on Facebook. The participants were required to include three TikTok dances in their videos. Creativity, originality, timing, and overall impression were the criteria for judging the entries.

In an interview with the winners, Araya admitted that she was not expecting to get any ranking in the competition. She also said that it was a tiring competition, but she was happy that she was able to showcase her talent in dancing.

Meanwhile, Alindogan said that he was nervous at first since he did not choreograph his performance, but he felt relieved when he knew that the competition was over because he managed to accomplish his pre-recorded video. He mentioned that he does have a talent when it comes to dancing and that he was glad to use that talent in such competitions. He ended the interview with a piece of inspirational advice to other people, “If you want to do something, do it because someday you might regret things that you did not experience or do in your past.” #
