Baking Club delights attendees of ‘BAKEnjoy’ webinar

Introducing attendees to the world of baking, The Baking Club hosted “BAKEnjoy: The Baking Club Webinar” as part of the Alternative Class Program (ACP), held via Google Meet, Apr. 23.



Ms. Vanessa Marie Adame, a Homebaker who studied Bread and Pastry Production at Technical Education And Skills Development Authority (TESDA), is the Guest Speaker for the said webinar. She shared her humble beginnings and ongoing journey in the culinary field as a baker. She also talked about the challenges of being a business owner during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.


Another highlight of the webinar is the presentation of cake and pastry recipes and baking techniques demonstrated by Ms. Clarisse Jalotjot and Ms. Julie Ann Lanting, Club Moderators of The Baking Club who also hosted the webinar, as well as by some members of the said club. The content ranged from no-bake recipes to frosting techniques.


The participants were then given the task of decorating a cupcake with other snacks that can be used as decoration and they were asked to present it to their fellow students who attended the webinar.


Awarding of certificate to the guest speaker and picture-taking ended the webinar. #
