HIT Club asks ‘Confident Yarn?’ for this year’s ACP

As part of the Alternative Class Program (ACP), the Himig, Indak, Teatro (HIT) Club conducted a workshop entitled “Confidence Yarn” held via Google Meet, Apr. 23.

The said workshop by the APEC Schools Cluster E’s Performance Club featured activities that aim to boost self-confidence and lay a solid foundation for elevating self-esteem.
Selected members of H.I.T Club were the speakers for the said workshop. After the Opening Remarks by Ms. Erica Joyce Macutay, one of the Club Moderators, and the introduction of the speakers, Glory Rose Sibonga opened the workshop by discussing a topic titled “Defining, Familiarizing, G na G” followed by the intermission number of the club’s singing group.
Then, the two main topics were introduced. Micky Shaira Quiambao, Representative of the Singing Group tackled “Overcoming Stage Fright in Performing” while Cristina Calilung, Representative of the Dancing Group, and Martt Geoffrey Labot, Representative of the Acting Group discussed “Building Self-Confidence” wherein they explained why confidence matters and gave tips on how to be more confident. Other members of the club then shared their experiences of stage fright and how they overcome it to become confident performers. The hosts also asked the participants their key takeaways from the speakers.
After the Closing Remarks rendered by Mr. Miko Adrian Trapani, another Club Moderator, H.I.T Club members performed an intermission number which ended the program. #
