‘LIPAt Karunungan’ Part 2 commenced; APEC San Pablo students in attendance

APEC Schools Lipa - Student Council conducted Part 2 of “LIPAt Karunungan” Leadership Training which some students from APEC San Pablo including two from Amplify San Pablo participated, held online via Zoom, Feb. 13.
The second session, with the tagline “Be In Love With Leading” had two motivational speakers and two guest speakers.
Mr. Kelvin Linatoc, an APEC Schools alumnus, was the first motivational speaker wherein he shared his experiences about being a leader in APEC Schools. He said that being a leader means the willingness to serve and commitment to fulfilling your duty as a leader.
Ms. Kennethdale V. Comidoy, the CEO of The Profile, led the first plenary session entitled A Purpose-Driven Team: Setting a Vision and Direction for your team. She shared her knowledge and experiences on being a leader, emphasizing that we have to develop ourselves first before we lead other people. She ended her talk by playing a video of a version of the turtle and the rabbit story which is about the different efforts and competencies that you put in to achieve success, as well as teamwork will always be the best.
Another alumnus of APEC Schools was the second motivational speaker. John Paul Lina shared his background and life experiences as a student. At that time, he narrated that it was really hard for him because of his situation, but he continued to keep moving forward.
The second guest speaker was Mr. Michael Lagaya. His session was about adapting to the challenges of the changing times. He shared a quote “Be a DIAMOND among the tons of stones” wherein DIAMOND stands for Dynamic, Innovative, Active, Motivated, Optimistic, Natural, Determined.
Giving of the Certificates of Recognition to the speakers and picture taking ended the program.
“LIPAt Karunungan” is a three-part leadership training organized by the Student Council of APEC Schools Lipa led by their Deputy Adviser, Mr. Kristian Fernandez. The third and last session of the said training will be held on March 27, 2021. #
