Green Swordsmen’s La Guardia grooves her way to Solo Dance Championship

Showcasing her exceptional ability in dancing, Jan Emyrick La Guardia representing the Green Swordsmen was declared as the Champion of the Solo Dance contest in connection to Cluster D Unity E-Games and Festival of Talents 2021 held live via Zoom, March 6.

Even though she had a technical problem while she performed, La Guardia continued to dance and performed well and executed her moves the cleanest way. Moreover, Jerry Bombane of Pink Archers achieved 2nd place while Hailie Asher Galpo of Gray Gunners grabbed 3rd place.

The dance performances were based on the theme “I Like to Move it, Move It” which is a contemporary dance performance wherein the participants may choose Hip Hop, Pop, and K-Pop music and choreography.

“I didn’t expect to win this competition, I felt like I lacked many things and I wasn’t even professionally trained, I only practiced using my shadows,” La Guardia said in an interview. #
