Black Weapon Masters dominate Call of Duty Mobile - SHS contest

The Black Weapon Masters were declared as the Champion of the Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) - Senior High School (SHS) category of the Cluster D Unity E-Games and Festival of Talents, Feb. 20.

After action-packed clashes of Battle Royale mode between the teams, Black Weapon Masters ended the three-game match with a total of 67 points, claiming their first Championship. Standing at 2nd place was the Orange Mages acquiring 56 points, and closely followed at 3rd place was the Gray Gunners gaining 48 points.

Seven teams competed in the said game, wherein the 4th to 7th place is in this order: Pink Archers (45 points); Green Swordsmen (30 points); Yellow Elementalists (18 points); and Purple Assassins (14 points). The other two teams failed to send representatives while one team was disqualified due to an incomplete number of members present on the game itself.

Christian Latunio, a member of the Black Weapon Masters’ representative for CODM, said that he and his team were very nervous before the game because that was the very first time they competed in a tournament. After the game, they felt like they were well-trained players and very confident because they won 1st place in the said game. His advice to other players is that they should be courageous and trust their teammates, and also enjoy the game. #
