Diana Mae Franchesca Ticzon and Oluwafumilayo Karen M. Omowaiye, both from BLACKS Party were elected in the two other top positions as they were proclaimed as Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.

Other newly-elected officers include Dexter G. Gonzales (BETTER) – Public Information Officer (P.I.O) and Merlyn Bea P. Enriquez (BLACKS) – Peace Officer (P.O). Macalindong were designated as Grade 7, 8, 11, and 12 Representatives, in the order given.

53 votes were tallied in the said election. Other sites also had their SC Elections on this day.

CAMPAIGN PERIOD

Given an 8-day campaign period that started October 1, both parties introduced themselves by creating their own video campaigns and postcards and were posted on the school’s official Facebook group. They also posted their campaign materials in their own Facebook accounts.

Aimed to put the aspiring leaders under careful scrutiny, Miting de Avance was held online via Google Meet in the afternoon of October 8. This event was managed by the school’s COMELEC officers.

AUTOMATED ELECTIONS

This year’s SC Elections is a simple and cheat-free election system. The election lasted for approximately 6 hours, and the results were immediately posted on that day, on the school’s official Facebook group.

Oath-taking of the newly-elected officers will be on October 13. #
