With the hashtag #Gr8fulToBeAPEC, APEC Schools celebrated its 8th Foundation Day, September 22, 2021.

Students shared what they are most grateful for to be part of APEC Schools through an online Gratitude Wall posted on their respective Homeroom group chats which ran from September 20 to 24 which is the “Foundation Week.”
The actual Foundation Day celebration per section was held during their ESP/MIC period which is either Wednesday or Thursday of that week depending on the section. For the program, the emcees are the Class Adviser together with the two selected class officers.
Individual sharing session focusing on the prompts “3 Things/Ways I’m proud of myself”, “Two Things I have come to really like about my APEC Schools family”, and “One Thing/Dream I of making happen this year” was the highlight of the celebration which the sections did either using online apps such as G Jamboard or Padlet or by calling students to share live.
Singing of Better Each Day Anthem and Solidarity Prayer led by the Class President opened the program. In between the program, there were messages delivered by the Teaching Cluster Head, Master Teachers, and School Heads.
There was also an intermission number from the chosen students as well as some fun bonding activities that happened. Then, chosen students recited the Thanksgiving Poetry pieces followed by Community/Group Singing.
A message from the Class Adviser and virtual picture-taking ended the program. #
