Editorial Board members of Amplify San Pablo and the officers of APEC San Pablo Student Council (SC) participated in the “LIPA’t Karunugan” held via Zoom, Jan. 30.

LIPA’t Karunugan is a series of Leadership Training with various guest speakers such as entrepreneurs, former student leaders, and media personalities, organized by the APEC Schools Lipa - Student Council led by Mr. Kristian Fernandez, Deputy Adviser.
Jerry Bombane, Editor-in-Chief, and Lara Jane Macalindong, Managing Editor, represented Amplify San Pablo, the official student publication of APEC Schools San Pablo, for the said leadership training program.
Mr. Jed Vincent Buytrago, a successful entrepreneur and event producer, led the first plenary session entitled The Price to Pay: Being Bold in Taking Risk and Reaching for Your Goals. He shared his life story before and after he became a successful person and how he earned his first million at the age of 27 that gave inspiration to the students. He left the students with these words of wisdom "Experience is the best teacher" and "Practice makes progress."
“Teamwork + Hardwork = Success” was the gist of the talk of Mr. Ben Ralph Yu, a multi-awarded former student leader, and the speaker for the second plenary session. His talk focused on how to be successful and on how to be a better leader. He ended his talk with a quote “Success is not a point to be reached, it's a continuous journey of conquering your dreams. The more you do, the more you become.”
Jazhiel Batitis, Grade 11 Representative of SC San Pablo, shared "in the first session of LIPA’t Karunungan Leadership Training, I learned that in life we don't need to give up easily. As a person, we should strive harder for us to reach what we want. Just like the life of the speakers in the training at first, they are not that successful in an instant, they experience the process to become a successful person. We need to take action for us to turn our dreams into reality.”
The second and third installments of the said leadership training series will be on February 25 and March 27, 2021. #
